Our aim
WCAG 2.2 at level AA, across the site and the application.
We want Rbundle to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, magnification, speech input, or a keyboard alone. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, and we take Section 508 as the applicable federal standard.
In practice that means: images carry meaningful alternative text; colour contrast meets the AA thresholds and colour is never the only way information is conveyed; text can be resized and the layout reflows without loss of content; headings describe real structure rather than being large bold text; every control is reachable and operable by keyboard with a visible focus indicator; form fields have real labels and errors are announced; and link text makes sense out of context.
Where we actually are
Aiming at a standard is not the same as meeting it. We have not been audited.
We would rather say this plainly than imply a compliance we have not demonstrated. Rbundle has not yet been through an independent accessibility audit, and no conformance report has been produced. The statement above describes the standard we build to and test against, not a certified result.
The parts of the product most likely to fall short today are the long branching request forms and the proposal comparison view, both of which are dense and were built quickly. If you hit a barrier in either, we especially want to hear about it.
CONFIRM before launch: commission an independent audit, publish an Accessibility Conformance Report, and replace the paragraph above with the audit's date and findings. An accessibility statement that claims conformance without an audit is itself a legal exposure.
Telling us about a problem
Send the page, what happened, and how to reach you.
If you have trouble using any part of Rbundle, email info@rbundle.com with the address of the page, what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the assistive technology and browser you were using if you know them. Tell us how to reach you and we will follow up.
If you need information that is on a page you cannot use, ask us for it in another format and we will provide it.
